*As of April 2, 2024 this project has been rejected and will be out for a rebid at a later date.* The work generally consists of the replacement of up to six (6) existing Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs) with new PBBs. The construction scope of work includes, but is not limited to removing the existing PBB per gate and legally disposing off site, repair of the existing pedestal on select gates and the installation of a new PBB on the specified gate, and replacing PC Air and Ground Power on all twelve bridges. Base Bid Scope of Work includes: Installation of Temporary Construction Items Removal of up to six Existing Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) (and repair of pedestal on select gates) Installation of the proposed PBB and ancillary equipment Final adjustments (including commissioning and acceptance) Replacement of PC Air and Ground Power units at all twelve bridges Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to reject all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids, in the Owners sole discretion. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Surety Bond and a Payment Bond each in the full amount of the Contract Price.
