**As of October 05, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Project scope: The scope of this project is to replace existing system controllers, sensors, enclosures, relays, and field devices. The majority of the existing actuators, frees tats, and valves are intended to remain. Any found not functional during checkout are to be captured on a deficiency report and replaced as needed in a separate project. Project has Federal funding. Question Deadline 09/22/2023 at 2:00 PM ET Bid security required is 5% of the bid in cash, certified check, or Bid Bond. Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount will be required. Durham Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities. Sealed bids from licensed contractors will be received by Durham Public Schools, Durham, North Carolina for furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the Easley Elementary School Controls Replacement, 302 Lebanon Circle., Durham, NC 27712 Anticipated Notice to Proceed is October 10, 2023. The Substantial Completion date will be March 4, 2024 (144 calendar days), and Final Completion to be April 1, 2024. In the event of delay in Substantial of Final completion, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to DPS in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty ($250.00) per day.
