The Town of Butner invites qualified firms to submit qualifications to provide surveying, design, construction administrating and inspection services for a sidewalk construction project. The selected firm will provide surveying, design and construction administrative services and inspections at every stage of the project to include: maintain knowledge or project operation and safety issues, process all pay request, review contractor s schedule of values as compared to work completed, maintain inventory of quantities of materials used, conduct field inspections, and contract management and final review and close-out of contracts. Seeking Private Engineering Firm (PEF) to provide surveying, design, construction administration and inspection services for approximately 6,900 feet of new sidewalk and the removal and disposal of approximately 1,100 of existing four foot sidewalk. Questions submitted later than this deadline will not be considered. An addendum with questions and answers, if necessary, will be published on the by 5:00 p.m. on September 25, 2023. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for any reason. Contract Award November 2023 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
