Renovation of a conference / convention center in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The City of Surrey invites expressions of interest and statements of qualifications for the removal and replacement of the existing concrete arena floor including and sand and insulation at the Cloverdale Curling Rink, located at 6150 176th Street, Surrey, BC, V3S 4E7. The work will include the complete removal and replacement of the existing arena rink floor structure and associated below grade material, including removal and replacement of the under floor refrigeration system comprising of associated distribution lines, i.e., cooling and heating. The scope of work is limited to the arena rink replacement and does not include any work outside of the rink slab and associated refrigeration piping, nor any changes to the ice plant nor mechanical equipment. The City is contemplating reusing the existing header and return trenches. All work must be completed during the 2024 Curling off-season beginning in April, with the new rink ready for operation by end of August.
