The County expects that the scope of engineering and design services may include, but is not limited to, the tasks listed below. Additional tasks may be required depending on the nature of the assigned project. 1. Project Management Provide adequate project management services to ensure that the work is proceeding in accordance with the agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget. Attend regular meetings and provide written correspondence as necessary to report on the progress of the work and facilitate timely issue resolution. Provide written progress reports to support invoices. Perform Quality Control reviews and submit completed SCDOT QC checklists with all applicable deliverables. 2. Surveying Perform all ground surveys (to include LIDAR and laser scanning) and property boundary surveys needed to prepare final construction plans in accordance with the SCDOT Pre-Construction Survey Manual and under the direction of a registered South Carolina Professional Land Surveyor. 3. Preliminary Design Prepare preliminary plans in accordance with the SCDOT Roadway Design Manual and SCDOT Roadway CADD Manual. Prepare a construction cost estimate to accompany submittal of the preliminary plans. Address comments generated from review of the preliminary plans by County, Municipalities, and SCDOT prior to advancing design to the next stage of plan submittal.
