The City of Scottsdale (City) is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified engineering firms for professional services to provide electrical engineering and related services on an "as needed" basis at various project locations throughout the City of Scottsdale. Over the five-year term of the current On-Call Electrical Engineering Services contract, the City issued 51 work orders totaling approximately $1,074,000 for engineering services. The individual work orders assigned under the contracts ranged from $3,045 to over $153,000. The initial term of the contract will be for two (2) years and have a maximum contract term amount of $1,500,000. This on-call contract may be renewed for up to three (3) additional one-year terms, with a maximum term amount of $750,000. Renewal of the contract will be based on the successful performance by the firm and the needs of the City. The contract maximum may be increased at the time the option is exercised, or at another time deemed prudent by the mutual agreement of both parties. The City intends to award up to 3 contracts On-Call Services Contracts from this RFQ. The City makes no guarantee of work under an on-call services contract. The method of contractor has not determined at this time
