DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Fremont County intends to replace three bridge structures along 400 E in the Chester area. Two of the structures will be precast box culverts, while the third structure will be a stiff-leg bridge. This bid package is to provide bridge structures for placement by the county. BID BOND: A Bid Bond will not be required. The Successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount not less than 100% of the contract price. All questions relating to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the ENGINEER in writing for the project. It shall be understood, however, that no interpretations of the specifications will be made by telephone, nor will any "or equal" products be considered for approval prior to award of contract. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, if in the best interest of the OWNER Bid notes The email subject line shall bear the words "Bid for" followed by the title of the Contract Documents for the work and the date and hour that bids are due.
