The work for S. Main Street (Route 11) will involve resurfacing approximately 0.80 miles of the roadway, from Thornhill Road to Houston Street (UPC 121156). The work for Thornhill Road (Route 251) will involve resurfacing approximately 0.62 miles of the roadway, from S. Main Street west to Bird field Road (UPC 121157). For all work areas, all public side streets or cross streets will have 30 tie-ins for asphalt paving to ensure proper connections. Any and all questions and/ or requests for interpretation of bid documents must be submitted in writing to [City of Lexington Public Works] by 4:00 PM on [September 15, 2023]. All Unless otherwise altered by addenda, the last official addendum shall be issued by 4:00 PM on [September 22, 2023]. Contractor is required to possess a Class [A] Contractors Business License for this project. a bid bond from a Surety company satisfactory to the City Attorney, or his designee, or a Certified or Cashiers Check, made payable to: Treasurer, City of Lexington. An anticipated Notice to Proceed date of [October 16, 2023], will complete the project by [December 15, 2023].
