Reference Number 0000329977 a not-for-profit, community-owned public power utility that generates and delivers safe, reliable, environmentally responsible, and financially sustainable energy and services to its owner communities of Estes Park, Fort Collins, Longmont and Loveland, Colorado, for delivery to their utility customers. The four owner communities established Platte River in 1975 as an independent joint action agency to finance, build, and operate electric generation resources and transmission assets to serve the communities wholesale electric needs. Platte River is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP"), bid specification HQ23-1860, for a renewable energy supply of wind generation. Platte River's goal is to purchase 150 MW to 250 MW of wind generation resources from new renewable wind facilities or facilities suitable for expansion that interconnect to Platte River's transmission system.
