Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Baltimore, Maryland. Design plans call for the addition of a 70,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 0-story below grade transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
This expansion at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport was 70,000 square-foot addition to Concourse E and a 20,000 square-foot renovation to support additional gates. The lower level accommodates future baggage make-up operations, a new electrical substation, mechanical and electrical support spaces, two restrooms and leasable space. There was also an extension to previous sterile corridor, support space for Automated Passport Control and two mobile lounge docking locations. As of February 17, 2026, information regarding design firm has not been released. Further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been disclosed.
