General work description: San Bernardino City Unified School District, through its Maintenance and Operations Department, wishes to enter into a labor and materials agreement with a qualified vendor that can professionally remove and install new pool filter system at Arroyo Valley High School Question Deadline 09/28/2023 at 11:00 AM PT The San Bernardino City Unified School District is interested in entering into a contract to remove and replace the existing three-tank US Filter sand pool filter system currently located at the Arroyo Valley High School pool facility to mitigate current leaking media into the single pool. A. The replacement pool filter system shall be a new three-tank Pentair Stark SS-96 filter system or equal - complete with new manifold piping, a new Pentair Stark CA100 semi-automatic backwash controller and related programing or equal, and new #20 filter media. The scope of work shall include but not be limited to, drain and vacuum out filter media from three (3) existing filter tanks and related systems, modify existing piping to flange together with the new manifold assembly and backwash piping, and install all new sand filter media. Contractor shall properly disposal of three (3) existing filter tanks, manifold assembly, and nine thousand six hundred (9,600) pound of sand filter media off site.
