Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, parts, tools, equipment, materials, travel, and incidentals necessary to remove eight (8) existing light fixtures on light poles and install eight (8) new light fixtures with specified light heads, or equivalent. The documents and files attached to this solicitation do not have any updates for digital accessibility at this time. Updates will be applied as soon as they are available. Payment Bond (ADM-2009) Requirement: If the successful bidder's bid exceeds $25,000, the successful bidder shall furnish a Payment Bond for not less than 100 percent (100%) of the total amount payable by the terms of this Agreement. The Payment Bond is due prior to the start date of work. No work may commence without receipt of a valid Payment Bond. The Payment Bond must be in effect at all times for the duration of the Agreement As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is committed to meeting the State's twenty-five percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB), SBs for the purpose of Public Works (SB-PW) are encouraged to submit bids. Caltrans reserves the right to reject all bids for reasonable cause.
