The Owner is the City of Buffalo and the work site is located in the City of Buffalo. The project limits are within the right-of-way of 37 bridges within the City of Buffalo. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Thoroughly clean and wash all elements of each of the 37 structures in accordance with the current New York State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and accepted industry standards. Remove dirt, salt, and debris from along the shoulders to promote transverse drainage. Remove dirt from within scupper inlets and adjacent drainage structures. The EEO Employment goals for this project are: 7.7 % Minority Employment Goal 6.9% Women Employment Goal No questions or inquiries regarding this bid will be accepted within three (3) business days prior to the bid opening.
