Install New Sump Pumps, Wire and Plumbing. Install sump pumps in the basements of five buildings. The Work of the Contract consists of: 1. Remove and dispose existing gravel fill in five (5) existing sump pits. Furnish and install five (5) new dewatering pumps in the basements of buildings 20, 22, 24, 26, and 28. Pumps shall be installed in existing sump pits 2. Pipe the discharge from the dewatering pumps to open site drainage to grade with appropriate signage at each discharge. 3. Furnish to the Housing Authority one (1) spare dewatering pump as scheduled. 4. Furnish to the Housing Authority two (2) spare 2-inch pump discharge check valves. 5. Furnish and install GFIC receptacles for new dewatering pumps and FUTURE dehumidifiers to be installed in future by the Housing Authority. Equipment receptacles shall be wired to existing house panels via dedicated circuits as noted on plans. 6. Furnish and install a new high water pump sensing/control system at each dewatering pump. 7. Test system prior to Start-up that must be observed by Owner/Engineer.
