“The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers" The proposed comprehensive renovation is for the existing Reedy Creek Elementary School Campus. This renovation will accommodate a total of 948 student stations, for a combination of grades pre-K to 5th Grade. The basis of design will be to incorporate a new student building replacing the existing main campus building 1. A Castaldi assessment has been performed and the report approved, granting the demolition of Building 1 (Main campus building). The awarded Construction Manager will receive the report. The new student building will house the current required program components of the elementary school, within a projected 96,000 GSF of new construction. The building will be designed with a high-performance envelope detail, to achieve the minimum Energy Utilization Index (EUI) as possible, and 0.20 cfm (cubic foot per minute) air infiltration per envelope square footage. The new construction will not require a small mock-up structure to facilitate high-performance testing but will require complete Envelope commissioning to meet the intended design criteria.
