Work will include, but is not limited to: Mortar & Masonry Grout; Unit Masonry Systems; Metal Deck; Metal Fabrications; Wood Blocking & Curbing; Interior Architectural Woodwork; Board Insulation; Batt Insulation; Lightweight Insulating Concrete Roof Insulation; Fluid-Applied Water & Air Barriers; Custom Sheet Metal Wall Panels; Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing; Sheet Metal Flashing & Trim; Roof Specialties; Joint Sealers; Standard Steel Frames; Standard Steel Doors; Flush Wood Doors; Door Hardware; Gypsum Board; Floor Tile; Suspended Acoustical Ceilings; Resilient Flooring; Acoustical Wall Panels; Painting; Display Case; Solid Phenolic Toilet Compartments; Toilet & Bath Accessories; Metal Canopy Systems; Plumbing; HVAC; Electrical; Theatrical Lighting; Structured Cabling System; Intercom Systems; Area of Rescue; Clock Systems; Fire Detection & Alarm; Fences & Gates; Etc Where applicable, and in all construction projects, an electronic bid bond is also required and must be furnished. Failure of the bidder to upload their bid is not the responsibility of Terrebonne Parish School Board. Printed copies of the Bid Documents are not available from the Architect or Owner. The time of completion of this project is of prime importance. All of the work required shall be completed within FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE (565) calendar days Should the Contractor neglect, refuse to complete the work, or obtain approval from the State Fire Marshals Office for occupancy on the date above, the Owner shall have the right to deduct from and retain out of such moneys which may be due or which may become due and payable to the Contractor, the sum as indicated in Paragraph 10.2 of the Instructions to Bidders per calendar day for each and every day that such completion of the work is delayed beyond the prescribed dates, as stipulated damages and not as a penalty. Bid Security in an amount equal to not less than FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the Bid Amount. Bid Security shall be a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond (Money Orders or Letters of Credit will not be accepted) made payable to the TERREBONNE PARISH SCHOOL BOARD. Bid Bond shall be accompanied with Power of Attorney. Bids shall be accepted only from Contractors who are licensed under La. R.S. 37:2150-2164 for the classification of BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for at least FORTY-FIVE (45) calendar days, except under the provision of La. R.S. 38:2214. The Lowest qualified bid will be the one determined to offer the best advantage to the Terrebonne Parish School Board. The TERREBONNE PARISH SCHOOL BOARD, to the extent permitted by State andFederal Laws and Regulations, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids/Proposals for just cause.
