Renovation of a recreation facility in Cortez, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
**As of October 18, 2023, project was awarded to Sparks Plumbing, awarded amount is $29,787.35. ** Sealed proposals to Furnish and Install a Domestic Water Heater for the Rec Center. The City reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so. Remove, furnish, and install a new water heater at the Cortez Recreation Center. Any and all work necessary for proper installation and operation shall be the contractor's responsibility, which may include the rerouting of gas and water lines, depending on the size and orientation of the new water heater. All work shall be performed by a Colorado Licensed Plumber. Disposal of the old water heater is the responsibility of the contractor.
