As of Deccember 05, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.. The work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: (1) Installation of signing to designate the 9.6-mile bike loop utilizing the existing roadway network. (2) Construction of a 1.6-mile off-road pedestrian trail, parking area and a 45 log stringer bridge that will span Long House Creek near Cascade Road. Signing will be installed along the off-road pedestrian trail, as well as along 3.3-miles of the local roadway network designating a shared-use for pedestrians. [Provide a description of work included. E.g. Installation of approximately 3,500 ft of sidewalks with or without curb; signing and striping including the installation of crosswalks, pedestrian traffic signal upgrades, drainage modification, resurfacing, bridge replacement, etc. Choose appropriate goal format, DBE or M/WBE, based on funding and eliminate section not applicable The DBE goal for this project is: 9% Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds guaranteeing performance of work and prompt payment from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid. The successful Bidder and all subcontractors must have an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT prior to being awarded a contract. If the successful Bidder does not currently have a CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT, the Bidder may find the CCA-2 forms and instruction for completion online . The work will be substantially completed 110 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP) and completed and ready for final payment 321 days from NTP.
