As of December 6, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. This project has been cancelled. Re-bid information to follow. Work for this project will be subject to the prevailing wage rates when the base bid is in excess of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000). Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,580.00 will be assessed for each calendar day in excess of the days given in the time for performance. The successful contractor shall have One Hundred Eighty (180) calendar days to complete work, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays after the start date established in the Notice to Proceed issued by MES. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Maryland Environmental Service may appear, to reject any items of any Bid. When the base bid is in excess of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) each bidder shall furnish bid security in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. For all contracts in excess of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) the successful bidder shall also be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in 100% of the value of the contract Question Deadline 11/13/2023 at 1:00 PM ET Bidders having questions and inquiries regarding either the technical or the procurement sections of the bid documents shall be sent though MES Procurement Portal.
