The Town of Green burgh seeks to authorize this work in fall 2023 (early October). Please note that a Highway Work Permit will be required through the NYSDOT, however, the Town of Green burgh will function as the permittee, with the selected contractor providing all appropriate certificates of insurance as per NYSDOT requirements. The Town will coordinate the purchasing of all trees and seed mix associated with the project The Town of Green burgh seeks the services of a licensed professional landscape installation company for purposes of Meeting with Department of Community Development and Conservation staff in the field, to review staff identified locations for tree planting within the center median of Tarrytown Road (NYS Route 119) adjacent to 65 Tarrytown Road, P.O. White Plains, NY Fall 2023. 2. Coordinating all required Code 753 Call Before You Dig protocols. 3. Coordinating with the Green burgh Police Department (if deemed necessary) for roadway lane closures. 4. Proper planting and staking (if required) of 13 trees (~2 caliper size B&B) within the center median of Tarrytown Road (NYS Route 119), adjacent to 65 Tarrytown Road, P.O. White Plains, pursuant to the Tree Owners Manual for the North eastern and Midwestern United States, printed by the USDA Forest Service, dated November 2008, or the most current version or its successor. 5. Placement of topsoil (estimated 5 cubic yards total) between each of the planted trees, along with the application of five (5) pounds of Ernst Low-Growing Wildflower & Grass Seed Mix (ERNMX-156).
