The Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA/OWNER) is seeking the services of a qualified firm, or team of firms, (RESPONDENT) to provide services associated with the project. A Services Contract is anticipated to be awarded in the 4th quarter of 2023. The IAA strives to create opportunities for disadvantaged, minority, women and veteran owned businesses in all projects. To those ends, the IAA has set the following goals for this project(s): 18% DBE, 15% MBE, 10% WBE, & 3% VBE All inquiries and requests for information regarding this RFQ must be submitted Electronically. Questions are due September 27, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. ET. The solicitation management system will not allow late submissions. Inquiries are not to be directed to any consultant or staff member of the OWNER. Such action may disqualify Respondent from further consideration. The OWNER reserves the right to judge whether any questions should be answered. If responses are provided, the written responses will be posted on the IAAs solicitation management system Respondents are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) relative to the project(s) listed below per the requirements in Section 2. Project(s): Terminal Energy Resilience at Indianapolis International Airport (Project No. I-24-003) The above referenced Project will probably be delivered utilizing the provisions of IC 5-32 Employment of Construction Managers as Constructors (CMc) for Projects. If so, the Respondent deemed the most qualified from this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) solicitation will be expected to collaborate with the selected CMc team during all phases of the project. Ultimately, however, the Owner will utilize its singular discretion in determining the method of delivery Written questions due September 27, 2023, 4:00 pm Written responses to questions released September 29, 2023 Interviews (if requested by the IAA) October 2023 Contract award anticipated October 2023 The general scope of professional services may consist of the various types of consultant services which will be determined during project scoping; however, the services are anticipated to include, but not limited to: Survey Review of Record Information Utility Evaluation Drainage Evaluation Field Investigation Design including Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEP Services Geo-technical Engineering Investigation Coordination of Environmental Elements Detailed Cost Estimates Permitting Plan Review meetings with IAA stakeholders to discuss existing conceptual designs and programming Progress/Design meetings, as needed; however, assumed to be bi-weekly. Sustainability Rating System Design Construction Testing and Inspection services are not part of this RFQ. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
