Site work and paving for a civil project in Burnsville, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The Board of Supervisors of Prentiss County, MS will receive bids for the construction of 0.104 miles to Replace Structure No. SA5900000000029 on County Road 1475. This project is funded by Mississippi Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2018's Emergency Road & Bridge Repair Fund. This work consists of furnishing and installing deep foundations in accordance with these specifications and in reasonable conformance with the lines, elevations, and spacing's shown on the plans. It shall also consist of furnishing all required labor, tools, and equipment to determine the bearing value of the deep foundation according to Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) by static load testing, by dynamic load testing, and/or by driving of the specified test piles. Questions regarding registration, online orders and/or electronic bidding shall be directed to Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193. The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of qualified quantities. The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration of the award. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder whose name appears on the official list of Planholders maintained by the Engineer of Record. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
