Renovation of a theater / auditorium in White Plains, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.

Reference Number 0000330279 Question Deadline 09/28/2023 All requests for clarification regarding attached specifications must be submitted, as set forth below, no later than 4:00 p.m. 5 days prior to the bid closing date. All requests for clarification must be emailed to Janice Duarte at jqdp@westchestercountyny.com or Bill Schoenberg at was2@westchestercountyny.gov. Formal responses will be distributed by the County via the Bid Addendum process. The purpose of this bid is to purchase all equipment, installation and start-up for a new Stage Down Lighting System at the Westchester County Center. The new system must be compatible with Starr Digital Software currently being used. A site survey is mandatory prior to bid submission. Please contact Bill Schoenberg at (914) 995- 7301 to make arrangements for a site visit. The new Stage Down Lighting System (SDLS) shall replace the existing stage down lighting "X-Ray" system. It shall feature RGBW four in one Pixel and Zoom LED moving Kinetic Light Platforms (KLP) providing 5,600 lux @ 2m per unit. 72 total KLPs shall wash the entire stage with RGBW color mixing light. The existing rope and pulley manual pipe battens used for stage down lighting shall be replaced with square aluminum box trussing and theatrical chain climbing electric winches. The Lifting System shall include centrally remote controlled electric winches, and a proprietary computer based self-leveling system that shall interface with the existing OFE Crestron control system. Existing Crestron touch panels shall be retrofitted with a custom GUI system reflecting the actual horizontal truss positioning graphically in real time, as it relates to true horizontal level of zero degrees. The system shall use high-precision inclinometers. With the press of a Crestron GUI button, automatically bring moving trusses within 0.5+/- degrees average of true zero-degree level. An additional Crestron touch panel shall be supplied and installed as part of the existing OFE Crestron system. A professional Stage Lighting Console featuring two 15" color touch screens,supporting up to 65,536 DMX control channels and providing 7 DMX universe outputs and Art Net shall control the SDLS. SDLS shall also be controllable from existing OFE HOG4 lighting console. The scope of work shall also include a complete readdressing of all OFE existing lighting fixture DMX addresses, and restructuring of the existing dimmer electrical power supply to provide power to the new KLP fixtures. Electrical power for new theatrical winches shall be by Others/WCC/Owner. SDLS contractor shall be responsible for removal of the existing lighting system and battens. A. The SDLS Contractor is responsible for the following: 1. Coordinate scheduling of work with the Owner. 2. Restructuring of the existing dimmer electrical power supply to provide power to the new KLP fixtures and supplying of all related electrical cable, labor & hardware. 3. Supply & installation of all low voltage copper cables. 4. Supply of accessories and all equipment items needed to create complete systems, even if not specifically mentioned herein or on the drawings, without claim for additional payment. This shall include but not be limited to rigging, fastening & fly hardware, format converters, jacks, plugs, connectors, misc electronic hardware, software, wire fastening devices, etc. 5. Termination of all low voltage cables related to the SDLS. 6. Installing all SDLS equipment & low voltage infrastructure. 7. Custom Programming of SDLS included lighting console. 8. Custom programming of existing OFE Crestron system including GUI screens recreating all existing audio system functions, plus all new touch screen GUIs for Truss Self-Leveling system functions. 9. Mounting of all KLPs and all SDLS related hardware & misc. 10. Complete re-addressing of all DMX addresses of all OFE existing lighting fixtures for stage and center lighting arrays. 11. SDLS contractor shall be responsible for removal of the existing lighting system and battens. 12. All shop drawings, as built drawings, system operating manual, all equipment spec sheet submittals, up to 4 hours of on-site training of operator/users. B. WCC shall be responsible for supplying and installing of all electrical conduit, wire/cable, boxes, and all necessary materials, hardware and labor for all new SDLS truss winches, in conformance with all national, state and regional codes. C. SDLS Contractor is responsible for complying with the contents of the approved Drawing set submitted with the bid submission. D. SLDS Contractor shall be a direct dealer in good standing for all major equipment contained in the SLDS system, including Kinetic Lighting Platforms (KLPs) lighting console, Crestron and trussing.
