Public notice is hereby given that the City of Kirkland has issued the above-mentioned Invitation for Bids (IFB). The work to be performed for this project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary for completion of the 2023 Annual Replacement of Aging/Failing Infrastructure project. The City of Kirkland requires that no person shall, on the grounds of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, marital status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity. ESTIMATE: $600,000-$650,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of the 2023 Aging and Failing Infrastructure project. Specific work includes, but is not limited to: o Schedule A - Sites 1, 3, 4, and 5 (Site 2 was removed from the project) o installation of approximately four hundred (400) lineal feet (LF) of 12-inch diameter main cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) full-length liner; o installation of approximately one hundred and fifty (150) lineal feet (LF) of 24- inch diameter main CIPP full-length liner; o removal and replacement of two (2) structure frame and covers; o removal and replacement of two (2) structure tops (frame, cover, risers, and neck) as necessary to perform CIPP lining; o removal of one (1) existing structure and replacement with a catch basin structure at one (1) site; o including other related work such as mobilization / demobilization, pedestrian and traffic control, pipe cleaning, pre-construction and post-construction closed circuit TV (CCTV) inspection (mains and tee / laterals up to the edge of the rightof-way (ROW) and / or easements), water pollution and erosion control, bypass system, property restoration, trench / excavation protection, concrete curb and gutter replacement, concrete sidewalk replacement, pavement restoration, record documents, and any minor changes, complete in place, tested and ready for use, as needed to support the above activities on seven (7) assets at four (4) sites throughout the City of Kirkland as shown on the cover sheet of the Plans; Questions regarding this project shall be submitted in writing to City's Project Engineer via email BMahony@kirklandwa.gov.
