Reference Number 0000256046 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/10/10 02:00:00 PM CDT Efficiency Manitoba is pre-qualifying insulation contractors for a three-year term to support our Energy Efficiency Assistance Program (EEAP) and Métis Energy Efficiency Offers (MEEO). The EEAP and MEEO programs provide sustainable solutions to help qualifying low-to- moderate income customers move towards self-sufficiency through free or subsidized energy efficiency upgrades which reduce the cost of their energy bills. Through the programs, eligible customers receive a free Home Energy Check-Up to determine if their insulation qualifies for an upgrade. If customers qualify, they are provided with a list of Participating Program Contractors to choose from, and the upgrade is performed in accordance with the Appendices in the attached Draft Agreement. Insulation upgrades must be installed by one contractor per home, who has a demonstrated ability to perform the work with minimal use of subcontractors. This capability should extend to all measures in most types of homes. Efficiency Manitoba recognizes that this may differ in some rural areas as explained below. The MEEO program is delivered in partnership with the Manitoba Métis Federation for Red River Métis Citizens and uses Métis contractors registered with the Louis Riel Capital Corporation.
