Project work includes installation of approximately 15,000 feet of strand and fiber and approx. 2,400 feet of conduit and fiber as indicated. This project is partially funded through Kitsap County with federal funds from the U.S. Treasury ARPA Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. Contractor must be licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State. Contractors are encouraged to commit to local hires for this project. Small, Minority- and Women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids. A 5% bid guarantee is required in the form of certified or cashier's check, or surety bond. When submitting a bid, only include the bid form, the bid guarantee, Non-Collusion certificate, Statement of Bidders Qualifications, and the., Certification of Compliance with Wage Payment Statutes, and Subcontractor Lists. Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment and materials required for the installation of the Kitsap PUD provided fiber cables from a point starting on Old Mill Road to a point ending on NE Eagle Harbor Drive all located on Bainbridge Island, Washington. The Contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. Kitsap PUD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding in accordance with the specifications.
