The project includes the furnishing of all labor, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, appurtenances, and mobilization/demobilization necessary to install 18 filter valve actuators (Rotork - Open/Close operation) supplied by the City of Sidney spread across 6 filters. The Contractor will be responsible for all rigging, safety, necessary scaffolding, removal of old actuators, disposal of old actuators, electrical work, installation of new actuators and testing. Any and all questions regarding the referenced project must be submitted through the Bid Express website no later than Monday, September 25, 2023 at 1 :00 p.m. (EST). Questions submitted outside of Bid Express will not be answered. If applicable, the Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. The current threshold for payment of prevailing wage rates for Building Construction is $75,000. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Sidney reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Sidney. The Contractor shall furnish as their own proper cost and expense all management, labor, tools, forms, equipment, appliances, machinery, transportation and materials of whatever nature, necessary or proper for the work in hand and shall perform and complete within the time limit specified, all of the work indicated or implied by the plans, profiles, drawings, specifications or estimated quantities prepared for this improvement, including the removal of surplus or condemned materials and the thorough cleaning of the site of the work and the structures built.
