The purpose of this solicitation is to invite vendors to respond to a Request for Qualification to establish a Qualified Vendors List (QVL), for the procurement of Ready Mix Concrete Services, on an as-needed basis per Specifications and Requirements. Goal Participation: This solicitation is open to the general marketplace. Refer to Office of Economic and Small Business Development Procurement Preferences for Broward County Small Business Enterprises and County Business Enterprises section for additional information. Application for a Vendor Account: Vendors are required to complete and submit this form along with a copy of IRS Form W9 - Request for Taxpayer Identification Number. Q & A deadline: Sep 13, 2023 5:00:00 PM EDT Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Electronically by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions Electronically. Ownership Disclosure: Broward County is collecting entity ownership information for Vendors. This is for informational purposes only and the data will be used for Broward Countys research on possible contracting opportunity disparities. The forms will be maintained separately from all other records of this solicitation and will be accessible only by authorized personnel. The information provided will not be used in determining whether the Vendor will receive a contract award. In accordance with Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, the County may not request documentation or consider a vendors social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor or give preference to a vendor based on the vendors social, political, or ideological interests. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means.
