As of December 18, 2023, the bond vote was approved. Construction to take place June 2024-August 2026 in the summer months as the proposed upgrades would require major disruptions to each of the schools. Proposed School Construction Project Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Public School District, ISD Projects will include: -Security: Secure entrances at MS and HS. - Exterior doors at five schools. Est. $5,842,303. -Facilities: Replacing steam systems with hot water systems, upgrading equipment and adding dehumidification capabilities to various areas. Est. $18,696,916 -Classroom Renovations: Where necessary, classrooms in all buildings will be updated with appropriate acoustic walls and re-configured to allow for contemporary teaching methods emphasizing collaboration rather than lectures. Est. $7,491,945, -BHS Performing Arts Center: Equipment and various roof sections will be replaced to prevent future maintenance problems. Est. $4,468,836
