Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Manassas Park, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
Virginia Highway Safety Improvement Program grant funding to support Pedestrian and Unsignalized Intersection Improvements and Signal Related Improvements on the Manassas Drive corridor from the western corporate limit to Zachary Court. Specific improvements include 51 new pedestrian crossings, 5 restripe existing pedestrian crossing, 9 upgrade to high visibility crosswalk, 89 updated curb ramps, 1 leading pedestrian interval, 2 cobra lights, 9 unsignalized intersection improvements, 11 flashing yellow arrows, 63 high-visibility signal backplates, and 3 rectangular rapid flashing beacons. The project is include in the City`s 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
