Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project consists of demolition, clearing and grubbing, installing erosion control measures, grading, installation of stormwater conveyance, and installation of chainlink fence. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 90 days. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. A goal of 10% for small or minority business participation has been established for this project and those qualified firms are encouraged to participate. In addition, Prime Contractor's are required to fulfill specific criteria as noted in the Contract Documents with regard to minority participation. All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license as required under the state laws governing their respective trades. General contractors are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. General contractors submitting bids on this project must have license classification for General Contractors.
