Olde Sewickley Highlands Stormwater Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid, made payable to QVCOG. The successful bidder must furnish a Surety Company Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The successful bidder must also furnish a Surety Company Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. Upon completion of the project a TWO (2) year maintenance bond must be provided, dated as of the day of acceptance by the appropriate municipal engineer, in the amount and terms specified in the bid material for that project. In the event no provision for maintenance bond is set forth, the amount shall be fifty (50%) of the contract price for the stipulated two (2) year period. The Quaker Valley Council of Governments and/or Leet Township reserve the right to reject any and all bids, alternates or parts of bids and to waive any informality in the proposals received.
