The University of Georgia Facilities Management Division (Using Agency) on behalf of the Board of Regents of The University System of Georgia (Owner) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing Task Order Contractor (via the CM with a GMP method or lump sum method) and Design-Build services for certain Civil, Grading, and Structural Civil Site Work, grading renovations and related below-grade utility repair (chilled water, steam, electrical duct-bank, and sewer) for various locations on the campus of The University of Georgia at Athens, GA. A project description is provided in the Request for Qualifications document. A pre-submittal conference will be conducted by the Owner, and attendance is mandatory. After receipt of the qualification submittals, up to seven (7) firms judged most qualified based on the information submitted will be invited to prepare a live presentation, not to exceed 30 minutes, of additional detailed information concerning their experience and abilities relevant to task order projects. Questions relating to the RFQ may be asked at the mandatory pre-submittal conference. Other
questions must be submitted in writing via submission to the Question and Answer section of
the State Purchasing's Sourcing Director by Thursday, 09/26/2023 at 4:00 PM at and will be
answered by Tuesday, 09/29/2023, 4:00 PM. The Task Order Contractor will provide cost estimates and cost evaluation, value engineering
recommendations, design analysis, constructability reviews, and technical input on methods of
construction, materials, details, and subcontractor bidding packages. The Task Order Contractor shall
also develop and maintain a master project schedule. During the execution of a Task Order
Agreement, Task Order Contractor will be responsible for the following things, without limitation:
o methods of construction
o safety programs
o general conditions
o prequalification of potential subcontractors
o performance of all work
o certification of work-in-place
o pricing procurement and creation of a GMP or lump sum pricing for each project
o payment requests
o coordination and scheduling of all work of all construction contracts and miscellaneous
contracts required for the completion of the project within the predetermined budget
and schedule
o in the event of the implementation of a Design-Build contract, Task Order Contractor
will be responsible for design services
