Reference Number 0000330359 The is for the renovation of concrete pavement surfaces throughout the CAYIA site where necessary. See attached site plan. This will include pre-construction, construction and post-construction based on the attached professional set of engineering documents and specifications. This work will entail collaboration with CAYIA staff and the Detroit Building Authority (DBA) to develop a successful plan for implementation. Young International Airport (CAYIA) at 11499 Conner St, Detroit, Michigan 48213. The project consists of two bid alternates for rehabilitation of the Passenger and Executive Terminal Aprons on the southeast side of the airfield. The following improvements are scoped between each bid alternate: Bid Alternate 1: Milling 3" Portland cement concrete and repaving 3" of hot mix asphalt on approximately 12,550 SY, including selective spall and joint repairs outside of the mill/overlay areas on both the Passenger and Executive Terminal Aprons. Bid Alternate 2: Milling 3" Portland cement concrete and repaving 3" of hot mix asphalt on approximately 7,550 SY, including selective spall and joint repairs outside of the mill/overlay areas on the Passenger Apron. Selective slab and joint repairs, including full depth Portland cement concrete slab replacement on the Executive Terminal Apron. See EXHIBIT B for a site plan of the project. This will include pre-construction, construction and postconstruction based on the attached professional set of engineering documents and specifications. This work will entail collaboration with CAYIA staff and the Detroit Building Authority (DBA) to develop a successful plan for implementation. The CAYIA rehabilitation of the southeast apron pavement is expected to be substantially completed no later than November 22, 2023.
