Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Caledon East, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
McLaughlin Road / Inglewood Sidewalk Widening, Rail Decommissioning and New Trail - Removal of the red paved stamped asphalt path and concrete curb (existing apron) adjacent to the bridge/retaining wall. - Removal of existing rail tracks and signal appurtenances at the intersection with McKenzie St. - Construction of proposed 1.5m wide concrete sidewalk and new concrete curb and gutter along east side of road within project limits, adjusting existing lane widths to accommodate new sidewalk. - Mill and resurface roadway and intersection with new top course asphalt and stamped pattern treatment (intersection only). - Install pedestrian cross over signalization, signage and pavement markings on the south leg of the intersection with McKenzie St. - Site restoration of any disturbed areas Documents may be obtained at https://caledon.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award subject to final approval.
