Street Landscaping and Lighting District, Sewer, and Trash Assessment Engineering Services The City of Redondo Beach is a 6.2 square mile beach community with a population of approximately 71,000. The City is located twenty-five miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles and a significant portion of the City fronts the coastline. The City currently utilizes the Los Angeles County Auditor-Controller's Office to collect direct assessments via the Secured Tax Roll for the Street Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District, Wastewater Sewer User Fees, and Solid Waste Fees. Currently City staff is responsible to determine overall costs and assign assessments to the approximately 22,000 City parcels. The total fees collected are approximately $12.7M annually for the three sources combined. Consultants are expected to diligently undertake and perform the work program as outlined. Consultant shall devote the number of persons and level of effort necessary to perform and complete the work in accordance with the schedule included in Section 2. 4. All work done will be performed to the highest professional standards and will reflect the thoroughness, attention to detail and professional knowledge expected in the engineering, architecture, and associated landscape architecture disciplines. Question Deadline 09/29/2023 The method of contractor has not determined at this time The City of Redondo Beach expressly reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any and all proposals and solicit new proposals with modified terms and conditions. In the event of any such rejection, the City shall not be liable for any costs incurred in connection with the preparation and submittal of a proposal. The City also reserves the right to waive any informalities in conjunction with the proposals.
