Renovation of a mixed-use development in Marseilles, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The City of Marseilles is accepting complete combined bid packages for General Contracting of the renovations to the new City Hall and Police Department Building, located at 200 Riverfront Drive, Marseilles IL 61341. Project to be bid according to current prevailing wage. RFIs to be sent to Kevin Carey (kevin@phalen steel.com) with copy to Adam Boaz (adam@phalensteel.com) for any clarifications to submit complete bid. Bids will be opened and then reviewed and qualified by the City Board for completeness according to plans and specifications. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. The Board will make their selection at the June 5th board meeting and will publish subsequently. Complete General Contractor bid packages shall include the following divisions of work: Demolition, Concrete Floor Patching, Carpentry, Drywall, Painting, Acoustical Ceilings, Flooring, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Low Voltage Wiring, Masonry, Fencing, Ballistic Glazing, & Glass Tinting. Any deviations from plans and specifications or voluntary alternates must be called out separate of your base bid with add or deduct amount along with specifics of said alternate for the City's consideration.
