Reference Number 0000256231 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/10/02 12:00:00 PM EDT Bid Intent Deadline 2023/10/02 12:00:00 PM EDT Pricing Lump sum The Beaches-East York (BEY) Pilot Project is a City Council endorsed priority project identified through the Expanding Housing Options in Neighbourhoods (EHON) work program. The work program consists of multiple priority projects intended to expand permissions to allow diverse lowrise housing options in Neighbourhoods. The purpose of the BEY Pilot Project is to build missing middle housing on City-owned lands in Beaches-East York (Ward 19). The EHON BEY Pilot Project will be used to identify the opportunities and constraints to building at the missing middle scale in Toronto, inform necessary policy and process changes to facilitate missing middle development, and work with a development partner to building a demonstration project on city-owned lands that can be used as a model for development on privately-owned and other City-owned properties across the City. Following the detailed due diligence work completed in Phase 1, the Pilot Project is now entering Phase 2, which is centred around creating a refined development vision for missing middle housing at 72 Amroth Avenue (the Property) and the preparation of a complete submission for City-initiated Official Plan (OPA) and Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) applications.
