Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Davison, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; theater / auditorium; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
DCC Construction, Inc. is requesting bid proposals on behalf of Davison Community Schools for the renovation of the existing High School auditorium, and existing musical and vocal arts spaces. The project will consist of a full demolition of the interior space down to the existing structure. Asbestos abatement in the ceilings will be conducted prior to the demolition work under a different contract. The restoration of the space will include a new Fitness Center, Athletic Meeting Room, a new Wrestling Suite, new lecture room, and fully renovated gang bathrooms. Construction Timeline This work will begin in the summer/fall of 2024 and is projected to be completed by the start of the 2025 school year. The scope of work will include (but not be limited to) the following:Demolition - Concrete - Lean Concrete Fill - Masonry - Carpentry - Doors/Hardware - Metal Studs - Drywall/Finishing - EIFS - Athletic Flooring - Carpet - Resilient Flooring - Ceramic Tile - Painting - Spray-Applied Acoustic Absorption - Acoustic Ceilings - Acoustical Panels - Glass/Glazing - Visual Display Units - Signage - Fire Suppression - Mechanical (HVAC/Plumbing) - Electrical
