Renovation of a mixed-use development in West York, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of October 26,2023, project was awarded . For Prime General Contractor it is awarded to CB construction with $79,748.00, Prime HVAC Contractor awarded to Hosler Enterprise with $616,000.00 and Prime Electrical Contractor awarded to Orbit Technologies Inc., with $18,400.00. Total awarded amount is $714,148.00. The project work consists of contracts listed as Prime General Contractor, Prime HVAC Contractor, and Prime Electrical Contractor as referred to herein. The proposed project consists of the work detailed in the contract documents by each prime contract: 1.General Contract: Removal of CMU wall. Removal of H.M. Door and Frame. Tooth new CMU jambs and install jamb block to create new masonry openings. Install structural steel beams as detailed to carry existing CMU and steel mezzanine to remain. Scheduled CMU to be removed shall be replaced with concrete minimum 4 inches below adjacent floor with concrete to match existing. Exterior hot dipped galvanized steel dunnage for new cooling tower. 2. HVAC Contract: Remove existing cooling tower, chiller, partial piping sections, refrigerant monitor, selected water piping in mechanical room. Replace existing EVAPCO forced draft cooling tower in kind and connect to existing piping. Replace existing JCI chiller with a new JCI mag-lev 165 ton water cooled centrifugal chiller and connect to existing piping. Replace existing condenser water pump on existing vibration isolation base and connect to existing piping. Replace existing roof mounted exhaust fan on existing curb. Add refrigerant purge exhaust fan and ductwork. Provide starters for replacement equipment. Provide JCI controls for all HVAC units and integrate to existing system. 3. Electrical Contract: Remove selected receptacles, switches, conduits, breakers. Provide conduit, wire and breakers for new HVAC units. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond by acceptable surety or certified check made payable to the Northeastern School District in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the bid amount and must accompany each bid Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages. the Contract, with a proper Performance and Payment Bond, covering 100 percent of the Contract price as security for the faithful performance of all work under the Contract and payment of all charges in connection therewith, including a maintenance clause for ten percent (10%) of the Contract sum for a period of one (1) year from the date of final acceptance. The completion date shall be May 1, 2024.
