A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Scope of Work: This request for quote is for all work necessary to: remove and discard of all older existing dewatering system PVC filtrate and vent plumbing, replace plumbing with comparable type, material, alignment and dimensions of existing PVC plumbing closely matching attached and highlighted as-built plans with new PVC piping making all required connections necessary for a complete and functional Belt Filter press filtrate, venting and floor draining system. Contractor shall reuse existing floor drains and cleanouts. The city does not anticipate the need for concrete demolition or the use of concrete on the project. The city does however anticipate the use of quick-dry cement for finishing work around existing floor drains and existing cleanouts. Contractor shall implement best practice where existing plumbing is inaccessible through concrete floor and ceiling penetrations. The City of Port Townsend is requesting filtrate and venting plumbing quote for the Wastewater Treatment Plant's dewatering building located at 5300 Kuhn Street: (the city has attached highlighted plumbing detail drawing and photographs for reference) The city shall award dewatering filtrate plumbing replacement project to the lowest qualified bidder. Contractor Requirements: Licensed and Bonded The city requires prevailing wages on this project.
