Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Village, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
In general, the Work consists of: tree clearing and excavation to establish a positively flowing drainage ditch discharging to the Beaver Lake Ditch from County Road 300 W. Installation of a storm sewer pipe and structures along the west side of County Road 300 W will provide a drainage outlet for the Plaines neighborhood consisting of CR 875 N, CR 883 N, CR 890 N, and CR 896 N. A Performance Bond with good and sufficient surety on the form provided in the Project Manual, shall be required of the successful Bidder in an amount equal to at least one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Agreement. The surety of the Performance Bond may not be released until one (1) year after the Owner's final settlement with the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
