Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Johnson City, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of November 22, 2023, project was awarded to Vector Construction Corporation, awarded amount is $2,659,491.03. Questions regarding the Contract Documents should be directed to Joe Mieczkowski, P.E., Project Manager, McFarland-Johnson, Inc. through email at jmieczkowski@mjinc.com. Bidders shall promptly notify Joe Mieczkowski, P.E. of any errors, omissions, conflicts or ambiguity within the Contract Documents within 5 days of bid opening. The Owner is the Village of Johnson City and the work site is located in the Village of Johnson City. The projects limits extend along Lester Avenue approximately 300 feet south of the bridge over Norfolk Southern and approximately 200 ft north of the bridge. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Concrete deck removal and replacement, abutment rehabilitation, replacement concrete parapet, replacement sidewalk with monolithic curb and associated asphalt pavement, striping and guiderail
