The City of Casa Grande reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in this Request for Bids, or to reject any or all bids; to be the sole judge of the suitability of the materials offered, and to award a contract or contracts for the furnishing of one or more items of the services it deems to be in the best interest of the City. Question Deadline 10/12/2023 This project is located in Casa Grande, Arizona on Kortsen Road between the Casa Grande Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), immediately west of Burris Road, and the Henness Road Alignment. The project will install a new 24" force main that will run along Kortsen Road to the WRF. The force main features approximately 24,700 LF of a 24" HDPE pipeline and appurtenances routed from a future, proposed lift station to the existing WRF. This project will also include a jack and bored casing and carrier pipe under AZ State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue). All HDPE pipe has already been purchased by the City. No proposal will be read unless accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check, or surety bond, in the amount of 10% of the bid amount. The guarantee shall be made payable to and shall be acceptable to the City of Casa Grande. Liquidated damages in the amount of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per calendar day may be assessed for each day the Work remains incomplete after the scheduled and agreed upon Substantial Completion date.
