Award: Cole Construction, Inc., in the amount of $818,807.32 The project generally includes pedestrian improvements to Lakeside Park including the construction of a pedestrian ramp, stairs, retaining and landscape walls, site grading, sidewalk, and hardscape improvements. Bidders must submit with their bids a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount bid, payable without recourse to the OWNER from an approved Surety Company as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract is issued to him or her. A cashier's check will not be accepted. The successful Bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety.
