CONTRACT TIME: 60 Working Days By use of the website the plan holders shall have the option of obtaining hard copy of the Plans and Specifications and/or shall have the opportunity to submit an official bid online. All hard copy proposals shall be directed to the attention of The Town of Heidelberg with the outside of the envelope marked "HEG-101-20 BASE REPAIR, LEVELING, & SURFACING PROJECT". Contractor shall indicate certificate of responsibility number on the outside of the envelope. Online bids shall be accepted and opened as instructed on the website. Certified Check or Bid Bond for five percent (5%) of total bid payable to Jasper County must accompany each proposal. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letter qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposals will not be considered in making the award. State Aid is not a party to this contract or the project. The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of the published quantities. The attention of the BIDDER is directed to the State and Federal laws governing selection of and employment of labor.
