Reference Number 0000330569 Village of Romeo CEMETERY is seeking RFP's for Road Project The approximate quantities for the major items of work are as follows: HMA Surface, Rem 8,000 Syd Aggregate Base Conditioning 7,250 Syd HMA, 13A 1,300 Ton Tree, Rem, 19 inch to 36 inch 2 Ea Tree, Rem, 37 inch or greater 12 Ea Two alternate bids are being requested. The first alternate completing all work within the 2024 construction season. The second alternate is completing half of the project in the 2024 construction season and half of the project in the 2025 construction season. There is also an alternative of placing an aggregate course surface in lieu of an asphalt surface. This work would be proposed to be completed in its entirety in the 2024 construction season. A certified check, bank draft or satisfactory bid bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company on the form provided, payable to the Village of Romeo Cemetery Board, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The deposit of the successful Bidder shall be forfeited if the Bidder fails to execute a contract and bonds within ten (10) days after award.
