Renovation of a medical facility in Surrey, British Columbia. Design plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This project proposes a two-phase design and renovation approach by: Phase 1 - Design and renovate pre-existing off-site space (Charles Barham Pavilion) for departments displaced by SMH's Interventional Services expansion. Phase 2 - Assess, design, and renovate existing space within SMH to create two (2) new Cardiac Interventional Suites and two (2) new Interventional Radiology Suites. Sites: Surrey Memorial Hospital, 13750 96 Ave and Charles Barham Pavilion, 9a Ave, Surrey. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from qualified consultants to undertake the services described in Appendix 'A' to this RFP (the "Services") with respect to the Surrey Memorial Hospital's Medical Imaging Expansion including dedicated Radiology and Cardiac Intervention procedure rooms and support spaces (otherwise referred to as the "Project") has closed and a preferred proponent has been chosen. The successful Proponent will act in the capacity of a Managing Consultant (Architect) for the Project, including engaging the services of all Sub-Consultants as required to provide complete consulting services for the Project. Services to be provided by the Managing Consultant and Sub-Consultants will include: Registered Professionals in the field of Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Interior Design, Building Code, and Acoustics. Further update in late spring 2024.
