Road and bridge upgrades, Ontario Western Region. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals has been issued by the owner. The awarded proponents will provide engineering services on a retainer assignment. The following are examples of typical tasks which will likely be addressed with this type of assignment: - Specialized inspections (e.g., non-destructive testing of fatigue prone details, bridge deck condition and surveys, and underwater inspections, etc.) - Structural evaluations to determine whether posting or strengthening is required. - Design assignments for bridge rehabilitations and emergency bridge repairs. - Small drafting and/or design assignments such as overhead signs, culvert repairs, and high mast lighting, etc. Projects will be identified upon award.
