Demolition, site work and addition to a conference / convention center in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a conference / convention center; for the demolition of a conference / convention center; and for site work for a conference / convention center.

The City of Abilene Convention Center is requesting proposals for the addition of a Memorial Plaza to the North side of the facility. This project consist of selective demolition of the North Plaza, demolition of some existing pavers, protection of the existing landscaping, removal of fill material, removal of a portion of existing 8 thick concrete slab, compaction of the sub-grade, installation and compaction of new limestone fill material, installation of a mixture of sand and mortar mix leveling bed, installation of new concrete pavers, re-installation of existing concrete pavers, installation of fifteen (15) new stainless steel Memorial Plaques, installation of Two (2) new shade structures and the installation of a new shade structure lighting system. Also included are two Add Alternate Bids which are, Add Alternate Bid No.1, the addition of six (6) Stainless Steel History of Abilene Billboards and Add Alternate Bid No. 2, the addition of thirteen (13) additional memorial plaques for future use that will be given to the owner and placed in storage on site. There are also two allowances that are required to be included with the General Contractors Base Bid.
